Alex Tyrrell (PADI MSDT)
Alex is the Photo Pro at Dumaguete and oversees the Photo Services available at both of the Atlantis Dive Resorts. He has been diving for over ten years, taking underwater photos for more than eight of these. He has written articles on underwater photography for both UWP Magazine and DivePhotoGuide. He currently uses a Nikon D7000 with a variety of different lenses, Subal housing and Inon strobes. Alex has been teaching underwater photography for Atlantis since 2008.

Alex was born and raised in London, but as the underwater photo opportunities there are limited, he has now moved to Asia where he can dive regularly in the most bio-diverse region of the world and follow his passion for underwater imaging. If Alex is not busy working you'll find him underwater, camera in hand looking for that special image or testing out the latest underwater photo gadget!
